Based in a Roger perspective that appropriate relationships can be therapeutic, as they promote the subject’s psychic development, through a case study involving the creation and the operation of a ludoteca in the hospital, to verify its contribution in the sense of making possible the continuity of the child’s global development during his internment. It was verified that the ludoteca in the hospital propitiates the sick children a moment of freedom, in which them and their relatives can install oneself and organize the objects freely, no matter reading, hearing music, singing, playing, expressing with puppets, to fantasize to do of bill, everything in permanent integration. Through the play, the child finds mechanisms that aid him to face his fears and anguishes, helping in his recovery.
