Periodicity

Revista Psicopedagogia, the official scientific journal of the Brazilian Association of Psychopedagogy (ABPp), adopts a quadrimestral publication frequency, with continuous-flow publication organized into three annual issues: January–April, May–August, and September–December.

This editorial structure ensures regularity, predictability, and excellence in scientific communication, offering timely access to peer-reviewed articles for the academic and professional communities. The adoption of a continuous publication model allows articles to be published individually and immediately upon completion of the editing and final review process.

The quadrimestral issue structure supports thematic and chronological organization of published content, facilitating effective indexing in specialized databases and repositories, as well as integration into international digital preservation systems.

This hybrid editorial model offers multiple advantages:

  • Reduced time between approval and publication, enhancing the speed of scientific dissemination;

  • Increased visibility and impact of articles, with individual DOI assignment and rapid integration into academic networks;

  • Ease of access and citation, with continuous pagination and predictable editorial planning;

  • Compliance with international editorial best practices, reinforcing the journal’s credibility and academic reputation.

By combining editorial agility with academic rigor, Revista Psicopedagogia reaffirms its commitment to the ethical, accessible, and high-quality dissemination of national and international scientific production, consolidating its position as a leading journal in the fields of Psychopedagogy, Education, Psychology, Mental Health, Neuroscience, and Public Policy.
