Resumo

O artigo discute a efetividade de programas de prevenção ao bullying com o objetivo de oferecer, especialmente aos gestores públicos, uma síntese das mais recentes evidências internacionais a respeito de políticas públicas exitosas na área. A pesquisa foi realizada nas plataformas ERIC, EPPI Center, International Iniciative for Impact Evaluation, Campbell Collaboration, Elsevier e MEDLINE, tendo identificado sete revisões sistemáticas que preencheram os critérios de inclusão. Concluímos que programas de prevenção delineados a partir de diagnósticos no território da intervenção, de longa duração e abrangência universal, tendem a produzir os melhores resultados. A capacitação dos professores para o manejo de conteúdos que envolvem fatores de risco para o bullying também aparece como um fator destacado para os efeitos da prevenção.
