The prevention of learning disturbs and the basic skills to a productive participation at XXI century

The skills of reading, writing, calculating are not enough to characterize an individual qualified to have productive participation at XXI century. Nowadays, much more is necessary, because the modern society offers and demands the domination of skills to use high technological resources that already are at human habitat. Resources as computers, internet, cell phones, television and etc., are accessible to significant part of population, that each day enjoy this digital world early. Besides this, it has been necessary to develop the skills of communication and relationship with different people from several procedures and cultural habits, because the globalization cut the distances, approaching the people. So, the psychopedagogical action may adequate to the new minimum needs on education and its effects on the model of teaching and learning, that aims to the development of capacities and competencies for productive participation on XXI century. It was emphasized the preventive function of psychopedagoge at school beside the teachers and family, considering the new demands exposed on “Modernity Code” by Toro; “seven intelligences”, related by Gardner and “what is need to know before get to school”, by Goleman. The conclusion is that the psyichopedagoge must update his paradigms to be ready to act in this new model.
